Maybe you were voted to an all-state team, and your letter jacket held so many medals everyone could hear you coming down the hall. Or, maybe you're a professional spectator. Either way, the Kirkwood Eagles teams are nationally-ranked among junior colleges. And, a lot of current Hawkeyes, Cyclones and Panthers were Eagles first!
Did you know?
In 2007, our women's basketball team earned their third NJCCA national championship. Other 2006-07 Eagles benchmarks:
Two academic NJCCA All-Americans.
Four athletic NJCCA All-Americans.
Three teams named Academic All-Region for overall GPA - volleyball, women's basketball and softball.
