Either way, the Kirkwood Eagles teams are nationally-ranked among junior colleges. And, a lot of current Hawkeyes, Cyclones and Panthers were Eagles first!

In 2007, our women's basketball team earned their third NJCCA national championship. Other 2006-07 Eagles benchmarks:
Two academic NJCCA All-Americans.
Four athletic NJCCA All-Americans.
Three teams named Academic All-Region for overall GPA - volleyball, women's basketball and softball.

There are more than 60 different clubs and organizations on campus, as well as sports teams, intramurals like sand volleyball and dodge ball, student government and the Rec Center. And, our Study Abroad programs take students to all corners of the globe, including Guatemala, Costa Rica, Italy, Japan and more!
